Many regular cleaning ingredients are very harmful to the environment, and most consumers have started realizing this. Instead, they are leaning towards buying organic cleaning agents that have multiple different uses. Therefore, we have put together a list of seven products that are popular among Kami Basics' consumers and are worth selling at your store too.
1. Citric Acid
Citric acid is an acid naturally found in citrus fruits, especially in lemons and limes. It is a useful disinfectant against a variety of bacteria and viruses. It can be used for removing soap scum, hard water stains, lime, calcium deposits, and rust. In addition to cleaning, it can also be used for descaling, sterilizing, and making bath bombs. Plus, it's a safer alternative to conventional disinfectants and cleaning products!
2. Baking soda
Baking soda has many uses, such as cleaning, baking, washing, and personal hygiene. It is one of the most versatile products to sell at your store! It can be used to scrub dishes and pans since its fine grain and propensity for clumping make the perfect combination for a dish scrub. It can even be used as a carpet treatment by sprinkling a fine layer on the carpet, letting it sit for fifteen minutes, and then vacuuming it up to freshen carpets. The uses of baking soda are endless!
3. Sodium Percarbonate
Sodium percarbonate is a natural detergent, bleach, disinfectant, and deodorant for laundry. It can be used for the treatment of molds and as a degreaser for wood siding, furniture, and outdoor terraces. For general cleaning such as cleaning of surfaces, floors and fridges, forty grams should be dissolved in one liter of warm water to make everything pristine.
4. Soap Flakes
Soap flakes come from soap pellets. Soap molecules are amphiphilic, giving soap flakes their ability to dissolve grease when mixed or used with water. Packed soap flakes are especially concentrated, making them very practical, ecological, hypoallergenic, and cheap for housework. It can be used as an all-purpose cleaner, and it is combined perfectly with a soap pouch to use in the shower or to wash large surfaces.
5. Ecological Washing Powder
The ecological washing powder is a super concentrated mix of soap and soda; the soap is made from 100% organic vegetable oils. Ten grams of the detergent is sufficient per machine wash cycle, and it is effective at low temperatures. It does not contain any fragrance, allergenic, or optical brightener.
6. Soda Crystals
Soda crystals are a powder that is soluble in water. Its alkaline pH allows the neutralization of acidity and removing any greasy stain. It can be used to clean enamel surfaces, marble, or to clear blocked pipes. Also, it can be used to clean heavily soiled surfaces such as a bin or an oven. It can even make towels fluffy again by soaking them in a regular solution of soda crystals with warm water!
7. Terre de Sommières
The Terre de Sommières is a natural stain remover that absorbs unwanted liquids and oils. It is an excellent dry stain remover as the spill or stain is transferred to the finely grained absorbent powder. Sprinkle generously on the stained fabric, leave for several hours, rub if necessary, and then remove excess powder before vacuuming.
